Q: Why should I buy a Hydroseeder?
Q: Why buy a Hydroseeder?
A: Most people are tired of hand seeding and laying down straw. By the time you rake out all the straw ,you have damaged the lawn. Sod is very costly and more labor involved which in return costs you more out of pocket money. The mulch used in the hydroseed is biodegradable and disappears right into the soil with no clean up. The mulch protects the seed. The mulch holds 10 times as much water than straw. It also adheres the seed to the surface to protect the seed enabling for good fast growth. After you use a hydroseeder you will never go back to hand seeding. Great for spring time plow damage. Fill it up and hit all your accounts. Lots of construction projects will not clear payment check until the jobs hydroseeded first.
Q: Is there sales tax in New Hampshire?
A: There is no sales tax in the great State of NH. More savings for our customers
Q: What Kind of mulch do I use for these machines?
A: These machines are straight paper mulch machines
Q: How do your hydroseeders differ from the competitors models?
A: First of all I want to say that we have spent countless time testing all of these machines. While doing tests we found the best way to do that without clogging. It is far better then any jet or turbo style machine out there. When they say jet or turbo all that means is the water is being circulated back into the tank with no way to agitate the mix. How we do it is we have a complete 2 inch circulating system with an agitator nozzle that breaks down the materials. All other brands I know of tee off and reduce the hose size into two separate hoses usually 1" 1/2 or 1" 1/4. By reducing the size of the hose outside with two returns, you end up losing pressure and chances are it will clog.
Q: How Big of an area will the Hydroseeder do?
Q: Can I buy extra hose? How much will it be able to handle?
A: All our machines are capable of handling up to 150ft of hose
Q: I have seen some reviews on your machines regarding leaks on first use. Can you explain?
A: That's a great question. This puts many people in a panic when they see slight leaks coming from the plumbing when they start the machine for the first time. No need to worry, that is normal until you seal your machine. The simple answer is,If we glue the pipes together so it does not ever move and you need to take the pipes apart,it would be extremely hard to disassemble and would ruin the parts. We use Teflon Tape. We have special instructions for machines that have been shipped. There may be slight leaks do to the amount of pressure going through the system before you add your first little bit of mulch. Once you add mulch for the first time the mulch then blocks all the leaks and seals itself within 2 minutes all the leaks will stop forever. Unfortunately, machines that are shipped can't be tested do to the oil and gas. Machines that are picked up will have already been tested.
Q: Is there any kind of warranty on your machines?
A: Yes there is a 1 yr replacement warranty on the engine and 2 years on any other parts failure not caused by misuse.
Q: How heavy are the machines?
A: The machines are really light when not full of water. They have wheels and handles on them for easy handling. Approximate weight is about 200lbs-450lbs
Q: Ive heard leg tanks hold material in the legs is that true?
A: No the material does not get held in the legs due to the inclined sump. The reason for legged tanks is because they act as a buffer when you are traveling down the road. It prevents the vehicle from swaying when loaded with water.
Q: What is the mixture you use when filling the tank?
A: I have a special mixture that I share with you when you buy the hydroseeder. It comes with complete instructions, and tips and tricks on getting started.
Q: Can I fill the hydroseeder with a garden hose?
125- 10-12 minutes
225- 12-15 minutes
325- 15-20 minutes
Q: Where do I buy the mulch bales?
A: Depending on where you live, I will help you locate a dealer that is close to you that sells supplies.
Q: What is hydroseeding dye and where can I buy it?
A: We sell the dye on our web page. The dye is mostly used for attracting new customers and also makes spraying a little easier..
Q: I live to far away to come and get a machine, do you deliver?
A: If you live to far away we ship the machines right to your door within 1-3 business days. Freight in the North East is usually around $225 to about $450- $550 On the west Coast. We have shipped machines all over the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, New Zealand. If you live over seas please contact me for more info.
Q: Do you except credit cards?
A: We except all major brand credit cards,we also except Paypal.
Q: How long does it take for grass to come in?
A: With a hydroseeder, grass will come in very quickly , about 10 days if watered properly. Also you can shorten that time period if you pre-germinate your seed a few days before. That means soaking seed in buckets before your job.
Q: How much does it cost in materials per tank for the 325 Gallon Hydroseeder?
A: This question is asked a lot. The cost per tank is around a $100. That includes the mulch seed starter fertilizer and lime.
Q: How far will the hydroseeder spray?
A: The hydroseeders will spray 50-60ft away from you with no problem. When customers come out to try a machine out they are surprised by the power of the machine and how far it will spray.
Q What is your return policy?
A: We do not except returns. All machines are covered by the warranty. If anything were to go wrong with it, it will be covered. Shipping cost is to much to send machine back and fourth. Parts will be shipped to you if needed.
Q: If we run into problems will you be available to ask questions?
A: Yes we will be available to answer all your questions. Sometimes a quick text / email will work fastest, but if you need help asap we have people to answer the phones to help you.
